Our Visit Log

We keep a small log of visits to this site so we can see which pages help and prepare well if you book a consult. It is first-party: it runs on our own systems and nothing in it is shared with anyone else.

  • What is recorded: the pages you view, which buttons you click, how long you stay and how far you scroll, and where you came from (the referring site or campaign).
  • How it is tied together: one cookie, fl_vid, holds a random id. We do not record your IP address or use fingerprinting.
  • How long we keep it: 7 days. If you book a consult, your recent visits are attached to that booking for up to 90 days so AJ can prepare for the call.
  • How to opt out: we honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, or you can clear the fl_vid cookie at any time.

Booking a Consult

When you book a consult on this site, we collect only what we need to prepare for the call and hold your time.

  • What we collect: your name and email, your phone number if you give it, what you share to help us prepare, the email addresses of any guests you add, your time zone, and how you found us.
  • Guests: guest email addresses are shared with Google Calendar so Google can send each guest the invite and the Meet link. We do not send guests any other email.
  • Why: to prepare for your consult, hold the time for you, and send your calendar invite and a few short emails before the call. Each email has a link to stop them.
  • The call is recorded: a Fireflies notetaker joins the Google Meet and records and transcribes the call, so AJ can listen to you instead of typing notes.
  • Who processes it for us: Google Workspace (calendar and Meet), Resend (email), Fireflies (the call recording and transcript) and Cloudflare (hosting and storage).
  • How long we keep it: bookings for 24 months, after which they are anonymised. Cancelled bookings and calls nobody joined are kept for 12 months. Your visit log is kept as described above.
